Do I need to register in advance?+
Advance registration is highly recommended to guarantee your spot in a race, but walk-ups are welcome on the day of the event.
Do I need to bring my own kayak or board?+
Yes, participants must bring their own equipment for most events. The only exception is the Surf Competition, where limited rental boards are available and must be reserved in advance.
Can I reserve a camping spot?+
Primitive camping is available, more details can be found at visitwoka.com/wokafest2026
What is the Gear Swap?+
The Gear Swap is a community marketplace where attendees can buy, sell, or trade used outdoor and paddling equipment.
Can I bring outside food and drinks?+
Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Alcohol is strictly prohibited outside of the designated beer garden, where local food trucks will also be stationed.
Is WOKAFest family-friendly, and are pets allowed?+
Yes, it is a family-friendly event. Leashed dogs are welcome!
Do you need tickets for WOKAfest?+
No, general festival attendance is completely free! Parking is $10 per vehicle, participation in most of the competitive events or races, event registration is required.
How much is parking?+
Entrance and parking at WOKA is $10 per vehicle.
